I’m a news reporter based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana covering state politics and government. My work runs in The Advocate in Baton Rouge and The Times-Picayune in New Orleans.

I have a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. I completed reporting internships at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and The Kansas City Star.

My undergraduate degree is in sociology, and I’m generally interested in social and cultural topics, politics, business and health and wellness.
